United States Supreme Court: The court will hear oral arguments in the case of Trump vs. Anderson, former U.S. President Donald Trump’s request for the court to keep him on the Colorado ballot after the state’s highest court disqualified him. The case constitutes the Supreme Court’s biggest electoral test since Bush v. Gore.

Nevada: Republicans will hold caucuses in the western state of Nevada, with Trump, the party’s favorite for the nomination, set to win. Nikki Haley, her last remaining Republican opponent, dropped out of the Nevada race to focus on her home state of South Carolina and Super Tuesday.

Earnings: Philip Morris, ConocoPhillips, Apollo Global Management, Kenvue, Hershey, T Rowe Price, Spirit Airlines and Ralph Lauren will report their latest quarterly earnings before the opening bell on Wall Street. Pinterest, Illumina and Expedia will publish their results after the market closes.

Unemployment claims: New claims for state unemployment aid in the United States, a gauge of layoffs, are expected to have fallen to 220,000 last week from 224,000 the previous week.

Federal language: Thomas Barkin, president of the Richmond branch of the US Federal Reserve, will speak on inflation at the Economic Club of New York in Manhattan.
