Republican primary candidate Nikki Haley appears to have held out on her promise to support Donald Trump when his failed campaign finally comes to an end.
“I think I’ll make the decision I want to make,” Haley said in an interview on NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday. “But it’s not something I’m thinking about.”
The Republican National Committee (RNC) required all candidates appearing on the debate stage to sign a pledge indicating that they would support the party’s eventual nominee. When she was asked if she would support Trump even if he were convicted, Haley raised her hand.
However, Haley added that “the RNC is not the same RNC” and that she no longer feels bound by the pledge.
The establishment candidate also suggested that despite many of her major donors having dropped out, she could remain in the running until the Republican National Convention in July, fighting Donald Trump to the end despite losing every single race so far.
“If people want to see me move forward, they will show it,” he said. “They will show it in their votes. They will demonstrate this in their donations.”
Haley also questioned whether Trump, if elected, would follow the Constitution, fueling the left-wing narrative that he intends to rule by decree.
“I don’t know. I don’t – I don’t know,” he said when asked about it. “I mean… you always want to think that someone will do it, but I don’t know.”

Has continued:
You know, when you… you go and talk about revenge – when you go and talk about, you know, revenge [and] when you go and talk about – what does it mean? Like, I don’t know what it means and only he can answer that.
What I can answer is that I don’t think there should ever be a president who is above the law. I don’t think there should ever be a president who has total immunity to do whatever he wants to do.
On Friday, Haley received endorsements from RINO Senators Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, who both voted to impeach Donald Trump.
“Two strong senators in one day. I am grateful to have their support,” she wrote on Platform X. “Thank you Sens. [Susan Collins] AND [Lisa Murkowski]. We have a country to save!”
