“Israel has some of the best unmanned defense systems in the world. I previously voted to fund space lasers for Israel’s defense. America must take our national security seriously and deserves the same kind of defense for our borders that Israel proudly has and uses,” she wrote.

“I mean, if you want to fund the war, why don’t you go fight it,” Greene said, quoting a post from Juliegrace Brufke, who is a congressional reporter for Axios.
Greene’s proposal comes amid the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, with the United States providing support to Ukraine through the Supplemental Ukraine Act.
