Regular MSNBC host and Morning Joe contributor Donny Deutsch recently told host Nicolle Wallace that Democrats need to be “scaring the hell out of people” about the possibility of Trump winning in 2024.
Sowing fear is Deutsch’s specialty. He does this in almost every election cycle.
He recommends that Democrats deploy generals like Mark Milley to warn the American people that Trump is a danger to the country. Like people actually listen to Milley and respect him.

Political commentator Donny Deutsch said Friday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that President Joe Biden and Democrats should “scare the hell out of people” with what they think will happen during a second Donald Trump presidency.
Deutsch said: “Remember when a guy like Milley didn’t take orders from Trump and started sending troops against Americans? That will change. Thus, there is no independent army or independent judiciary. We’re seeing what that would look like. Guess what, you can no longer depend on the rule of law, and the independent Federal Communications Commission, you can’t depend on that and certainly not on an independent Department of Justice. Freedom will end. Things like women, birth control, all of that will disappear.”
He continued: “Here is the campaign Democrats must run. And I thought about it a lot. There are four people who need to come forward. Kelly, Mattis, McMaster and Milley. And there has to be a general campaign where these generals, who worked with him, have to turn to the American public, turn to the camera and say, “You don’t understand how scary this can be.” We can really fall off a cliff here.’”
