President Biden has been on the campaign trail in swing states for the past two weeks, while Trump was holed up in his club.
Jonathan Lemire summed up the difference between the two campaigns on MSNBC:
This is part of the president’s re-election campaign which will visit eight swing states in 18 days. Throughout the month, Biden has crisscrossed the country, visiting the Southwest, the Blue Wall and the South. Campaign stops focused on border security, reducing healthcare and housing costs, and celebrating CHIPS and Science Act investments.
In the states he visited, Biden won three, Georgia, Wisconsin and Arizona, by less than 1%. This is what we saw from the president after the State of the Union address. He reassured the Democrats. Democrats were nervous that he wasn’t up to the task. It clearly worked. But he’s also started this travel blitz where he’s raising a lot of money. Tomorrow he will have a huge fundraiser in New York City with former Presidents Obama and Clinton. Compare that to triumphing over someone who is barely on the road.

The fact that Donald Trump is not campaigning, and that it has been almost two weeks since he last did anything on the campaign trail, deserves more attention. The reality is that before these last two weeks, Trump only campaigned once a week, on Saturdays.
Donald Trump acts as if he is an incumbent president who has the advantage in the election.
Republicans and the media feared that President Biden was too old to do the job, but Biden is currently running circles around Donald Trump.
