Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, whose wife was implicated in Trump’s plot to overturn 2020, downplayed the 1/6 insurrection during SCOTUS arguments.
The Supreme Court was hearing arguments related to federal obstruction of justice law used to charge 350 Trump insurrectionists.
Justice Clarence Thomas went further and downplayed the insurrection:
In today’s oral argument, Justice Thomas is downplaying the severity of the 1/6 insurrection at the Capitol. Maybe it’s because his wife was part of the conspiracy. What a shame that he is the one handling this case. #SCOTO

Judge Thomas should not be taking this case. He should be recused because he has a clear conflict of interest. Judge Thomas’ wife, Ginni, was implicated in the plot to overturn the election. Ginni Thomas pressured election officials in states like Arizona to overturn the results.
Every time Clarence Thomas violates basic ethical standards, the Supreme Court’s credibility crisis grows.
