Trump appeared at the wake before a police officer to talk about how to stop the killing of police officers, after inciting the 1/6 attack that killed police officers.
Trump said: “We have to stop it. We must return to law and order. We have to do a lot of things differently, because this doesn’t work. This happens too often.”

This is the same Donald Trump whose actions before and during 6/1/2021 resulted in the deaths of five police officers.
As reported by the New York Times, the 1/6 attack led to the deaths of five police officers:
In the days and weeks following the riot, five police officers who served at the Capitol on January 6 died.
– Capitol Police Officer Brian D. Sicknick, attacked by a mob, died on January 7.
– Officer Jeffrey Smith of the Metropolitan Police Department killed himself after the attack.
– Capitol Police Officer Howard S. Liebengood also committed suicide four days later.
A bipartisan Senate report released in June found that the seven deaths were linked to the attack on the Capitol. But the report was published a month before two Metropolitan Police officers – Gunther Hashida and Kyle DeFreytag – died by suicide in July.
If Donald Trump does not organize and incite the mob to attack the Capitol as part of his plot to stay in power by delaying the 2020 certification, it is possible that each of these five police officers would still be alive today.
Donald Trump is currently being sued by seven Capitol Police officers for the 1/6 attack.
Friends and family members of officers who lost their lives as a result of the 1/6 attack or the trauma caused by the attack said Trump played a significant role in the deaths.
Trump is no friend of law enforcement, and his publicity stunt on Thursday shouldn’t be told without mentioning the police blood on his hands from the Jan. 6 attack.
